Kiruv Program
Every year, groups
of students are asked to volunteer to be sent to various North American Jewish
Communities to help with Yiddishkeit. Nearly a dozen communities have benefitted
from this program to date. The impact on these communities is immeasurable.
The Seminary girls intern at the schools in various cities. While in
these cities, their responsibilities are substitute teachers, teach remedial
classes, organize activities such as Torah Fairs, Shabbatons, field trips,
Melava Malkas, etc. They have formed close bonds with the students and have
become their ?Big Sisters?. The ripple effect, seen by the whole community, has
been astronomical.
The Seminary students realize many personal benefits from this program,
including spiritual growth and a sense of responsibility to the
community.
