Close to ten years
ago, a couple with great vision, Peter & Esther Kleinmann, established the
"Peter & Esther Kleinmann Program of Holocaust Studies" at our College.
Through this program the six-million live on, with educational lectures, visits
to Holocaust sites, student scholarships and sponsorship of Eastern European
students in our school. In this way, our youth preserve their memory for all
future generations.
Esther Kleinmann, a wonderfully dedicated woman, continues to carry on
the legacy of her late husband, Peter Kleinmann, through her ongoing support of
this program.
As part of the curriculum, we teach our students an appreciation for
pre-war Europe, which was then the center of Jewish life. The students are also
exposed to the history of the Holocaust through lectures from survivors and
through audio and video presentations.
